The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) Vacancies is a government organ established specifically to facilitate the recruitment of employees to the Public Service with the status of an independent Department. Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002 was amended by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1). Our vision is to be a leader in public service in the region.
Our goal is to modernize the recruitment process for public servants while ensuring fairness, transparency and merit are prioritized. We also offer support and guidance to employers on employment matters. Human resource plays a crucial role in public service delivery and as such, PSRS has been tasked with recruiting public servants in a fair, transparent and timely manner. We strive to uphold high standards of quality and ensure equal access for all applicants in order to promote equitable service across Tanzania.
